TFS Dealer Daily – Customer Payoff Info

The Customer Payoff information allows dealer users to obtain payoff results electronically from Toyota Financial Services (TFS).

To Access Customer Payoff

Customer Payoff functionality is used to retrieve Customer Payoff information by entering VIN/SSN or Account Number of the customer.

Customer Payoff Quote area is located on the top right corner of the Home page.
    Note: A customer’s payoff information may only be accessed if the dealer has the customer’s permission.

To Search Customer Payoff

To search for a Customer PayOff quote, select SSN, VIN or Account Number from the drop down and enter the corresponding information in the text box provided. When entering an account number to find information, the number must be entered exactly as it displays on the customer’s billing statement.

    1. The search criteria may be any one of the following:
        ● Retail/Balloon account (10 numbers)
        ● Lease account (11 alphanumeric characters)
        ● Social Security Number (9 numbers)
        ● VIN (17 digits)
        ● VIN (Last 8 digit)


    Note: For SSN, the character in the textbox is masked and not visible to the user, for security purpose.

    2. Select the Checkbox next to the statement “By submitting this request, Dealership represents and warrants to TFS that it has express consent from all of the customer account holders to obtain the requested payoffs”.

    3. Click Submit button which is enabled after the checkbox is selected.

    4. The Customer Payoff Quote details screen is displayed.

To Understand the Results Screen

The Account Number, VIN or Social Security Number identifies each result. There may be many entries for one Social Security Number indicating that the customer has more than one account.

Each result displays the following:
    ● Loan or Lease Account Number
    ● Year, Make and Model of the vehicle (in some cases the make and model are not on the database and so the information will not display)
    ● VIN
    ● Customer’s name and the name of any secondary account holder
    ● Good Through Date
    ● Payoff Amount
    ● Per Diem Amount (Retail only)
    ● Maturity Date
    ● Ext Maturity Date
    ● Original Term
    ● Last Payment Date
    ● Last Payment Amount
    ● Next payment due date
    ● Next payment due amount

To Print the Payoff details screen, Click on Print.
    Note: Always use the Dealer Daily Print button instead of the browser print button.

Click Close to close the window.

To Customer Payoff Quote Status

A Customer Payoff Result is not available if an error is identified or when an account is in a specific status. The following lists the Errors and associated Error Messages:

Error Error Message
No account and/or payoff information exists for the number entered. Account data not found. Please Contact Toyota Financial Services at (800) 253-9332.
Status Message
Account is terminated. Account is in Terminated status. Please Contact Toyota Financial Services at (800) 253-9332.
Account is sold. Account is in Sold status. Please Contact Toyota Financial Services at (800) 253-9332.
Payoff information is restricted. Payoff Quote access is restricted. Please Contact Toyota Financial Services at (800) 253-9332.
Payoff Amount is NULL for the account. Account is in Zero Payment status. Please Contact Toyota Financial Services at (800) 253-9332.
Account is restricted. Account access is restricted. Please Contact Toyota Financial Services at (800) 253-9332.

TFS Dealer Daily – Customer Lookup Service

The Customer Lookup Service functionality allows dealer users to find customers eligible for marketing programs.

To Access Customer Lookup Service

On the right side of Toyota Financial Services homepage, click . The default search screen with the default search results for Customer Lookup Service appears.

TFS Dealer Daily – Insurance Application Entry

The Dealer Daily Insurance Application Entry section provides a shortcut to fill VSA, GAP, PPM, EWU and T&W insurance application form.

To Access Insurance Application Entry

1. On the right side of the Home Page under click on either of the tabs to access the corresponding insurance application entry form.

2. A blank Insurance Application entry screen is displayed.

3. Complete the application, including all required fields (identified by a yellow background) and click .

4. Click to return to the Application Summary screen.

TFS Dealer Daily – Insurance Claims

The Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Dealer Daily Insurance Claims function allows dealer users to search for Toyota Auto Care (TAC) or Toyota Care Plus (TCP) agreements and coupons, create and authorize TAC or TCP claims, and electronically submit claims to TFS for payment. Dealer users will also have the ability to track the status and view details of TAC or TCP claims.

To Access Insurance Claims

On the Toyota Financial Services homepage, under Important Links, click the Insurance Claims link. The Insurance Claims screen opens.
